A little about Me.

Mark Ensign,           Photographer,

Digital Artist

I love Photography,Photoshop and being creative.

I’m by nature a very creative person. I started playing guitar when I was 13 and have made music for 30 years. My Father was a commercial Artist and has done that all of his life. It seems funny that after all of this time I enjoy doing the very same things. My Father started me out in Photoshop in my 20`s and I was just so into learning everything I could about it. Then came my first Camera. Soon after that all I did was read, learn and practice every chance I had. I would call in sick to work just to go out shooting with my camera. I got a job working at Cord Camera back in the Photo Lab a year or so later. I had a great teacher (thanks Rochelle) that taught me color correction and how to make great looking prints. I ended up becoming the Lab Supervisor by the 2nd year I was there and was in charge of the whole Photo Lab. I became tiered of printing (snap shots) all the time and really wanted to work on much more professional Photographs. I left Cord Camera and got a job at a Photography Studio where I corrected and enhanced images in my beloved Photoshop every day. Working for someone else has its ups and downs and I decided hey, I can do the whole thing by myself.

I’ve been doing just that ever since...  :)
